DIE MASSENSPEKTROMETRISCHE UNTERSUCHUNG DER IM RING SUBSTITUIERTEN SILATRANE
Abstract
The aim of this work was to investigate the mass-spectrometric properties of in ring substituted silatranes. We found that in trimethylsilatranes the [M-R]+ ion (m/z = 216) is the basispeak. In silatranones the CO2 fragment leaves first and the basispeak is the [M-CO2]+ ion. In carba-silatranes we found two basic procedures depending on R. In some cases the basispeak is the [M-R] + ion, but sometimes one of the rings opens and the basispeak is the [M-C2H5]+ ion.
